The Medical Physics Laboratory is part of the Division of Clinical & Basic Morphological Sciences of Ioannina University Medical School.

Aims & Objectives

The Laboratory of Medical Physics aims to provide:

• Theoretical and practical undergraduate education in the fields of Medical Physics and Medical Informatics to the students of Medical School and Physics Department of Ioannina University.

• Post-graduate training to physics, science, computer engineering and medical technology graduates, as well as medical doctors, who will either perform research or provide services at the health sector through the applications of medical physics in protecting and promoting health.

• Training to hospital physicists.

• Services in the Health sector mainly through the Laboratory of Medical Physics, of Ioannina University General Hospital (UGHI) in cooperation with hospital laboratories and clinics
